Cabinet condemns EU-India remarks on Nepal’s statute
The Government has taken strong objection to the remarks made about Nepal in the joint statement issued by the European Union (EU) and India.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers held today at Singha Durbar said that the statements made about Nepal is against the country’s sovereignty and national solidarity, and strongly condemned the EU-India move, Minister for Information and Communications, Sherdhan Rai informed Setopati.
The common statement issued by India and EU at the end of 13th EU-India Summit called on Nepal to make amendments in the new constitution to make it lasting and inclusive.
